POSITION: Pastry Chef

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads according to recipes and established standards.
- Decorate and present pastries in an appealing and professional manner.
- Assist in the development of new pastry recipes and menu items.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a pastry cook or baker in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of different pastry techniques, including dough preparation, baking, and decorating.
- Familiarity with various types of pastries, desserts, and breads.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
