POSITION: Catering Sales Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Catering Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service experiences that delight our guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure that every event runs smoothly and every guest feels valued. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and creativity, bringing delicious culinary creations to life.


What You’ll Do

  • Communicate with clients via phone and email.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for events, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Set up and break down catering equipment, including tables, chairs, linens, and serving stations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service timing and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Manage inventory of catering supplies and assist with ordering as needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support outside sales efforts by promoting catering services to potential clients during events.
  • Participate in product demonstrations to showcase menu offerings and enhance client engagement.
  • Uphold health and safety standards by following proper food handling procedures.

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in catering or food service roles.
  • Familiarity with CRM software for managing client interactions.
