POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute menus for various events and occasions
  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and dietary restrictions
  • Ensure food presentation is appealing and meets quality standards
  • Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs of guests
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Manage & develop catering staff on a daily basis
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and the ability to come up with menus accordingly
  • Understanding of safe food handling policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills for conversing with clients, guests, and employees
  • Business acumen and negotiation skills

  • Time management and organizational skills

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including knives and other culinary tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
